How much does landscape lighting installation cost?
For a full outdoor landscape lighting installation service, the cost can range from $1,500 – $8,000.
A lot of things come to affect the total cost such as:
- Number of lighting fixtures you want/ need
- Type of fixtures you select
- Difficulty to get the wiring to the light
- The condition of your yard
Why don’t you recommend landscape lights from home improvement stores?
Home Depot, Lowes, and other home improvement stores have a wide variety of solar and low voltage outdoor lights. Although they might seem like a good choice, mostly because of their price, it’s not recommended.
These lights have terrible warranties, you have to install them yourself, and they break or stop shinning rather quickly. Finally, the store lights typically use halogen lights, which don’t last very long.
Are LED lights more costly for landscape lighting?
LED outdoor landscape lighting is what we install. All LED bulbs can last up to 50,000 hours (2 – 5 years) and use 75% LESS electricity than halogen lights.
What types of landscape lights do you install?
We install LED lights. The landscape fixtures can be used for spotlighting, decks, hardscaping, walkways, pools, ponds, and driveways.
Do the lights come with a warranty?
Yes! All lights come with a warranty, depending on the manufacturer, warranties cover 2 – 5 years.
Is labor guaranteed?
Yes, we like to do the job right the first time. However, if you don’t like the results or if you feel something was not done right, let us know. We will be glad to be able to make it perfect!
Do you offer repairs for landscape outdoor lighting?
Will I save money if I install my outdoor lights myself?
It’s tempting to turn this into a project. However, doing it yourself is not always the most “cost-friendly” option. Outdoor lighting kits are available for a few hundred online on in-store. Keep in mind that the quality and effect will be NOTHING close to getting a pro to install professional lights for you.
Finally, lower quality lights and installation leads to frequent replacements and repairs. You will end up paying more for maintenance, electricity and maybe a job well done later.
